Assist in choosing the correct analysis approach and platform to solve the problem at hand. (ie. Linear vs Non-linear, static vs dynamic, transient vs steady state)
Provide guidance in identifying the correct loading criteria, the boundary conditions and mesh density
How to avoid computer intensive larger models
How best to represent bolted joints and contact surfaces with or w/o gaskets
Guidance in understanding load paths toward shape and weight optimization
VALIDATION
Define appropriate component, system and program level Reliability and Durability targets
Help to establish statistically relevant accelerated reliability growth program
Create and follow 8D fault elimination process
Assist in identifying the proper durability sample size and critical test configurations
Leverage FEA and Multi Body Simulations to drive bench test conditions
